| Suzanne Nawrot is a self-taught bead artist. She has worked for the Federal government since 1988. Art has always been a part of her life in both her professional and her personal endeavors.
As an outlet for her creativity, Suzanne began creating badge lanyards for the women in her work group. They proved very popular and soon she was selling them to other women at work, perfecting her technique and designs along the way.
Within a year she was creating beaded jewelry and selling her designs to co-workers, family, and friends. Her one-of-a-kind designs consist mostly of semi-precious gemstones and precious metals. Her portfolio has expanded to include various other beaded items including ornament hangers, cell phone charms, cake testers, stick pins, and hair sticks.
After joining the ArtWorks at 7th gallery, she expanded into etching glass. Using both chemicals and electric tools, Suzanne designs and cuts most her own stencils.
