Florence Priscilla McClary Catterton
Born in Charleston, S.C., Priscilla moved to Maryland as a small child.She studied dance until her early twenties as well as art in High School. She is married with one son, one grandson, and six step grandchildren. Priscilla's mother painted southern landscapes and florals until her death. This inspired Priscilla and gave her the nudge to pursue painting again after her retirement.
Priscilla has traveled to France, England, and Germany to paint and study new techniques and mediums. She is a member of The Color and Light Society, The Calvert Artists' Guild, as well as galleries in Calvert and St. Mary's County, MD. She has also displayed her work at Annmarie Gardens and other venues.
Priscilla currently lives in Calvert County, Maryland with her husband Roger. She is inspired by the Chesapeake Bay's wildlife with the Low County marshes still in her soul.
