Suzanne Shelden - Painter
Suzanne Shelden grew up in the Washington, DC area and currently lives in Southern Maryland. She has been working in art for over 40 years, achieving experience in painting, drawing, photorestoration, graphic design, and exhibit design. As a painter, she spent several years working on commission and participating in shows with local art groups in Rockville
and DC. She continues to work actively, finding her career both challenging and rewarding. Currently she has several series in progress, including the following: Southern Maryland
(paintings of landscapes and forests in Calvert and St. Mary's counties), Maryland's Route 4 (views as seen from the car), Appalachian (scenes from the mountains, from Virginia to New
Hampshire), Washingtonian (scenes of Washington, DC from the memories and perspectives
of growing up there).
